THE FUTURE OF CRYPTOCURRENCY In my last post, I discussed cryptocurrency and it’s advantages and disadvantages. Today I’ll be giving a subjective overview of the future of cryptocurrency. The future of cryptocurrency is quite unpredictable and it depends on whether people continue to be positively receptive to it. As long as people continue to believe in the immense benefits of cryptocurrency, I believe it’s prospects are numerous and unending. Also, cryptocurrency has become, to a large extent, an integral layer of our societal existence. Cryptocurrency enabled the decentralization of the major banks and finance as a whole. It put money back, to a large extent, in the hands of the masses. It also created more millionaires. Therefore, the keyword is “Faith”. If people continue to have faith in it, it will soar on and on. Welcome CRYPTO CURRENCY Today, we’ll be discussing, briefly, cryptocurrency. We’ll try to understand in a layman’s terms the basic details that encapsulates cryptocurrency. What is cryptocurrency? Cryptocurrency is digital or virtual money. That means there’s no physical coin or bill — it’s all online. You can transfer cryptocurrency to someone online without a go-between, like a bank. Bitcoin and Ether are well-known cryptocurrencies, but new cryptocurrencies continue to be created(Consumer Information, 2018). In simple, basic language that’s the definition of cryptocurrency. So as you can see it isn’t rocket science. Though, there are aspects to it they are complicated (we’ll get to that). Cryptocurrencies work using a technology called blockchain.
